If you would've told me that I would be a Production Assistant for films, I would actually believe you. This past weekend, I was a PA for Tulia's film, The Other Woman. Even with the TikTok horror stories of the things they do for peaked actors who think we still care about them (and we don't), I wasn't aware of what could potentially happen. I pulled up to the restaurant with a dream and an all black outfit, realizing that everybody else was late. Later on, I untangled Apple headphones, stood in for the already late actors, blocked the car sun from the shot, and the most important task, happily eat my Haribo gummy bears. It was a good shoot with even good-er food since it was free, and everybody knows free food is always better. AND THE CHEESECAKE?! It was on pointttt.
Alongside that was Yesui's silent comedy where I participated as a background actor, co-director, script supervisor, and a co-editor. Let's just say, I'm a quadruple threat in her film with multiple hats. I'm thinking one blue, one grey, one purple, and one black. I would say red but I don't support red, not sorry but Trump supporters can hop off my blog right now. BESIDES THAT, I had a lot of fun fanboying over a singer who could barely sing I Like It That Way by the Backstreet Boys, or NSYNC. I don't know, to me it's a bunch of white boys or white-passing boys singing autotune pop music, but at least they do it good so no complaints from me. We completed the film, and I ended up eating a suppli and pizza to celebrate my debut of doing everything film-related, and who's going to have 2 extra weekends of doing that? This guy, but it'll be worth it because then spring break comes along and PARIS is calling my name.
